Nestled in the
beautiful, historic village of Warkworth on the
Northumberland coast, Topsey Turvey has built up a
great reputation for outstanding home cooked meals.
Serving a traditional English menu, Topsey Turveys
has received numerous accolades in many local papers
since its establishment in 1981.
Topsey Turveys was described by one editor as a
“cosy, quaint and homely” serving delicious home
made steak and kidney pudding, “reminiscent of the
dome of St Paul’s cathedral” which transported him
back decades to when his grandmother made the best
pudding in the world.
This friendly Northumberland eaterie has very varied
menus and gives huge portions, so visitors need a
hearty appetite. The restaurant’s chiller, on
display in the restaurant window, is crammed with
deliciously naughty desserts to tempt people in. And
it does.
In addition to its delicious menus, Topsey Turvey
also boasts a cornucopia of prints, paintings,
knick-knacks and a sideboard covered with an
eclectic mix of items for sale.
So do come and visit us! – We look forward to
welcoming you. |
